About Me

My photo
The Perennial Path
I've been a Western New Yorker my entire life, enjoying the distinct changes of the four seasons in our area of the country. Spring is always welcome after our cold and snowy winters with snowdrops, daffodils and primrose among our first garden arrivals, signaling the beginning of the busy garden season.

The luxury of all summer's sweet sensation is to be found when one lies at length in the warm, fragrant grass, soaked in sunshine, aware of regions of blossoming clover and of a high heaven filled with the sum of innumerous bees. Harriet E. Prescott, August, 1865
